Fivetran Executive Roundtable Series · Australia and New Zealand
A closed-door dinner series for the senior leaders responsible for making enterprise data trusted, governed and ready for AI. Five cities, twelve seats at each table, one conversation that matters.
The series
Every board now wants an answer on AI. The honest answer, in most enterprises, starts with the data: whether it moves reliably, whether it can be trusted, and whether it is structured for systems that reason and act rather than dashboards that report.
This series brings together the people who own that problem. Chief data officers, heads of data and analytics, data platform and engineering leaders, and the CIOs and CTOs accountable for what AI is actually built on. Over a three-course dinner, under Chatham House rules, the table works through what AI-ready data really demands: of architecture, of governance, and of the teams asked to deliver it.
On the table
A frame rather than an agenda. Each dinner opens with a short provocation, then follows the room. These are the questions data leaders across the region keep returning to.
Beyond the slideware: the concrete properties of data that agents and models can safely consume. Freshness, completeness, lineage, semantics, and who signs off on each.
Dashboards tolerate ambiguity, autonomous systems do not. What changes in governance and context when the analyst querying your warehouse is a machine.
Where engineering time genuinely creates advantage, and where maintaining bespoke connectors quietly burns the capacity your AI programme needs.
Ingestion, transformation and semantics are converging under fewer vendors. What consolidation solves, what it risks, and how to keep the architecture open.
Compute bills are now a board conversation. Centralise or federate, and how peers are containing cost without throttling the teams that need the data.
The metrics that convince a CEO or a regulator that the data under an AI decision can be defended. What peers actually measure and report.
Five cities
Each dinner seats twelve senior data leaders, hosted at a leading private dining venue in each city. Dates and venues are being finalised now, register your interest and the team will confirm details for your city directly.
The experience
These are working dinners in the best sense: a private room, a well-chosen menu served across the evening, and a table small enough that everyone contributes. Attendance is curated so the person across from you runs a data function of comparable scale and complexity to your own.
Chatham House rules apply throughout. Take the ideas, leave the attribution.

Fivetran is the data foundation for AI: the automated platform for moving data out of, into and across cloud data platforms, with hundreds of managed connectors trusted by data teams worldwide. Together with dbt Labs, Fivetran is building the open data infrastructure that makes enterprise AI trustworthy, from ingestion and transformation to the governed context agents need to reason and act.

Innovatus Media produces closed-door executive roundtables, dinners and think tanks for C-suite and senior technology leaders across ANZ, EMEA, North America and Asia. Every table is curated by hand, every conversation is peer-to-peer, and every event is designed so the people in the room get more out of it than the people hosting it.

Each table is limited to twelve senior data leaders. Register your interest below and the team will be in touch to confirm your place as dates are locked in.
Happy to help with anything: who else is at the table, timing for your city, or whether the series is the right fit for a colleague. The team reads everything.
